的 Performance Studies Club is a co-curricular student organization dedicated to exploring social issues 和 diverse communication strategies through theatrical performance. No previous performance experience is necessary. Students create performances through improvisation 和 group collaboration. 的 club does many on-campus performances 和 travels to national performance festivals to share their work with other universities.
Speech 和 Debate Program/SCSU Forensics strives to provide competitive speech/debate, 大学参与, 和 community outreach to aid in the holistic development of students. Members of the program host educational events, serve the larger speech community 和 compete at regional 和 national tournaments throughout the year in speaking, 解释/代理, 辩论活动. Students are eligible if they have a 3.0 GPA overall with a 3.25 GPA in the 沟通研究 major. Students must have 60 credits minimum completed 和 12 credits completed in Communications Studies to qualify.
